About me: I’ve always enjoyed playing sports from a young age I played soccer, basketball, badminton and when I moved to NZ I started rugby. I eventually stumbled onto powerlifting walking out of my uni gym. It was a bench only meet and I decided I wanted in. I entered a local comp which went well and was convinced to try out 3 lift a few months later and haven’t stayed away since.

I quickly started doing some research into strength training and within the last 4 years earned my place as an international level powerlifter competing in IPF sanctioned meets representing New Zealand. With my passion for Strength training and leveraging my engineering background I’ve developed an approach that has facilitated my progression as a drug-free athlete. I feel I have a unique approach to strength training and whilst my methods might have some overlap with widely used protocols my application of the growth model makes the biggest distinction.

I’ve recently decided to take on some athlete’s to share my experience and facilitate their growth as means of my contribution to the strength community. Spaces will be limited as I feel this will enable me to provide the best service possible and maintain my drive as an athlete.

Happy to discuss how we can work together.
